Frequently Asked Questions
Everything buyers ask before ordering from MahjongSupplier — programs, OEM/ODM customization, shipping and the product itself.
Ordering & Programs
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer — an industry-and-trade factory in Taishan, Guangdong. The company that quotes you also runs the lines, holds the tooling and signs the QC reports.
What can I source from one program?
Complete sets (tiles, racks, pushers, dice, wind indicators, cases), bags, table mats, retail and gift packaging, and after-sales spares — consolidated in one shipment.
What OEM/ODM support do you offer as a supplier?
Artwork adaptation for engraving and print, Pantone matching, packaging dielines, accessory matching, pre-production golden samples and archived specs for reorder consistency.
Can we audit the factory before ordering?
Yes. On-site audits, live video walkthroughs and third-party inspections are welcome — routine practice for our larger programs.
What evidence do you provide with shipments?
Final full-set audit photos on request, video of the audit for larger programs, plus standard export documentation: invoice, packing list, certificate of origin.
What are supply terms and MOQs?
Programs start at 50 sets. Incoterms: FOB, CFR, CIF, EXW, DDP and express. Payment commonly T/T; container programs may use L/C.
Which markets do you supply?
North America (about 60% of output), Western and Southern Europe, Southeast Asia and South America — 50+ countries in total.
How do you keep reorders consistent?
Golden samples are sealed at approval, compound batches retained, and specifications archived — so the third order matches the first, season after season.
OEM / ODM Essentials
What should a new B2B buyer include in the first inquiry?
Six facts get an itemized quote fastest: your company and channel, the product format, target quantity, customization scope, delivery window, and destination with preferred Incoterm. Attach logo files and references if available.
Can we start with stock supply and add OEM branding later?
A common and sensible path: first order on stock lines to prove sell-through, branding added on the reorder from the same 50-set minimum. Batch retention keeps the transition seamless.
Do you supply marketplaces and e-commerce sellers?
Yes — shipper-ready cartons, channel-compliant labels and safety documentation coordinated for marketplace requirements, packed for fulfillment centers.
What documents come with a supply shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin as standard; RoHS material declarations on request; third-party lab testing coordinated when your market or retail chain requires it.
Can we consolidate sets, mats and accessories in one shipment?
That is the standard supply model: one program, one QC standard, one container plan, one customs entry — with a packing list itemized per SKU and per carton.
What happens if a shipment arrives with defects?
Claims raised within 30 days of arrival with photo evidence are remedied by replacement or credit — and the golden-sample record settles any dispute about specification in minutes, not months.
About the Product
What should our store stock: 166 or 160 tiles?
Stock 166-tile sets as the core assortment (the full American standard most buyers ask for by name) and add 160-tile builds for travel and gift price points.
Do buyers need anything else with a set?
The annual NMJL card is purchased separately from the league — a useful cross-sell note for your listings, since league play requires the current card.
What materials should a supplier offer?
Acrylic for premium engraving-led programs, imitation jade for gifting, and melamine for value tiers — a supplier with its own lines can offer all three consistently.
